外教在英语教学中有什么作用

  近些年来,利用外教教学的方法为提高英语口语教学做了卓有成效的尝试。那就是外教利用原汁原味的、纯正的英语和学生交流。用英语教英语有着十分重要的意义,可以说是英语教学成败的关键。针对我国的英语教学小编列了如下几条:

  一、缺乏必要的语言环境。我国学生是在汉语单一语种的环境中学生英语的,除了每周有限的几节课外,很少有接触英语的机会?文谘吹囊坏闾笛盗芬材岩栽诳瓮獾玫礁聪肮。这样的英语语言环境严重地影响了学生听说能力的发展。

  1、 Lack of necessary language environment. Chinese students learn English in the environment of Chinese single language.   二、教师口语水平低。目前不少英语教师的口语水平偏低,语音语调不准确,不能流利自如地用英语教学,这对培养学生听说能力是很不利的。

  三、班级学生人数过多。培养听说能力必须通过大量的反复练习,每个学生都要有足够的听说实践机会。而我国绝大多数中学班级容量大,一般在60—70人左右。班级人数过多就难以组织有效的口语训练活动,使学生开口实践的机会少,口语的能力自然难以提高。

  3、 There are too many students in the class. The vast majority of middle schools in China have large class capacity, generally about 60-70 people.   四、听英语的机会太少。说英语的能力必须建立在大量的听英语的实践基础之上,而我国学生由于教师的口语水平较低,电化教材设备和资料较差等种种的原因,学生听英语的机会少,这直接影响了说的训练。

  五、心理障碍的影响。由于英语基本功不够扎实,如语音语调不够正确规范,词汇、句型、语法训练不够,朗读、背诵等基本功不到火候等。学生很容易产生为难情绪,以致形成心理障碍,怕说错,说不好,遭人讥笑,被批评。因此学生开口难,连贯叙述更难,越怕越不敢说,越不说就越不会说,导致恶性循环。长此以往,我们的英语口语教学就陷入了一个“怪圈”,外语教学整体效益不高;经过中学、大学十年英语学习,大部分毕业生仍不具备有效的外语交际能力,不能适应我国的经济与社会发展的需要。

  5、 The impact of psychological disorders. Because the basic English skills are not solid enough, such as the pronunciation and intonation are not correct and standardized, the vocabulary, sentence pattern and grammar training are not enough, and the basic skills such as reading and recitation are not ready. Students are prone to embarrassment, resulting in psychological obstacles. They are afraid of saying wrong, saying bad, being ridiculed and criticized. The more afraid they are, the less they dare to say, and the less they say, the less they will say, resulting in a vicious circle. In the long run, our oral English teaching has fallen into a "strange circle", and the overall efficiency of foreign language teaching is not high; After ten years of English study in middle school and University, most graduates still do not have effective foreign language communication skills and can not meet the needs of China's economic and social development.
